Possible double-homicide suspect arrested after high-speed chase

St. FRANCISVILLE – Authorities confirmed that multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in a high speed chase Saturday night that ended in a crash near the Mississippi state line.

St. Francisville Police Chief Scott Ford told WBRZ News 2 that Louisiana State Police arrested a man named Derrick Siner around 6 p.m. Ford said Siner may be a suspect in a double homicide in the St. Martinville area.

Ford said the suspect crashed his vehicle in the Laurel Hill area but is safe and unharmed.
