BATON ROUGE – Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that happened on Lone Oak Drive in Baton Rouge Friday night.

Baton Rouge Police say Jody McCray, 31, was stabbed during a physical altercation at an apartment complex at 3033 Lone Oak Dr.

Detectives said McCray was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Police said the incident was still under investigation and anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact BRPD Violent Crimes Division at 225-389-4869.
