BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a man after they said he went into a fast food place with a gun and demanded a sandwich.

Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said officers arrested Daniel Hodby, 29, after the incident at the Subway on Burbank just south of the LSU campus.

Investigators said Hodby went into the Subway with a handgun and demanded they make him a sandwich. After a worker prepared the sandwich, police said Hodby took it and fled.

Police arrested Hodby after a short confrontation in a nearby parking lot. No one was reported injured, and officers booked Hodby on armed robbery charges.
