GONZALES - Alcohol and Tobacco Control agents and Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man accused of operating a bar without a valid state alcohol permit.

An ATC agent went to Weber City Bar, located on Weber City Road in Gonzales, after the agency received a complaint concerning the business.

The agent discovered that the owner, Tommy Neal, had been operating the business since March 2015, but he never obtained a state alcohol permit.

Neal was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on 210 counts of operating without a permit.
