ZACHARY – Authorities are looking for a man in connection to a fatal shooting that took place outside of a convenience store, Gate City Food Mart, on Lower Zachary Road at Highway 19 around 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 5.

Zachary Police are currently looking for 18-year-old Antoine Thomas who is wanted for the shooting. Thomas is 5’4 feet in height, and 120 pounds in weight.

According to Zachary Police Chief David McDavid, one man died as a result of the shooting. According to McDavid, the victim was shot multiple times by someone who was inside a vehicle.

Anyone who knows any information about the whereabouts of Thomas are urged to call 654-9393. Thomas is considered to be armed and dangerous, according to police.
