BATON ROUGE - One person is seriously hurt after a shooting in Baton Rouge Thursday.

The incident was reported around 3 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Byron Avenue and Hammond Street. Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Baton Rouge police are on the scene.
