BATON ROUGE- A woman cashed in a $2 million winning Powerball ticket the day before her 26 birthday.

On September 5, Sarah Hebert cashed in the winning ticket at the Louisiana Lottery Headquarters.

Hebert purchased her winning ticket days before the historic August 23 drawing for the $758.7 million jackpot.

The mother of three said she plans to invest a portion of the prize money for her children, ages 2, 4 and 8. Hebert received $1,400,000 after state and federal tax withholdings.

Hebert and her boyfriend also plan to “finally” purchase a house.
