LIVINGSTON - Parish leaders dedicated another $1 million to the road overlay project Thursday night.

Earlier this year, the parish council agreed to spend $4.47 million to re-pave forty roads. The extra money will increase the total amount spent to around $5.5 million. It was not immediately clear what roads will be fixed with the additional money.

The contractor and an engineer will look at the roads suggested for repairs and decide which can be done in the most cost effective way.

Here are the roads on the original list:

District 1 - South Satsuma Drive

District 2 - Sims Road, Perkins Road, Masion de Lane, Lynchburg Drive, Herman Ernest Lane, Versailles

District 3 - Dunn Road, Linder Road, Landsdown Drive

District 4 - Jason Drive, Pine Bluff Road, Lynn Drive, Darrin Drive, Leigh Drive, Colonial Drive, South Redwood Drive, Abyss Lane, Red Willow Drive, Willow Point Drive, Cypress Lake Drive

District 5 - Southpoint Drive, Falcon Crest Drive

District 6 - Hammack Road, Cuba Wheat Road, Cypress Point

District 7 - Travis Street, Sutcliff Drive, Brian Park Road, Kellywood Drive, Fox Run Drive, Brett Drive, Mayer Street, Kirbywood Drive

District 8 - Swamp Drive, Chene Blanc,

District 9 - Trappers Run, Ross Trail, Karli Lane, Sherwood Lane

Work on many streets has already been completed.
