Manhunt leads to arrest of teen wanted out of Livingston Parish
BATON ROUGE - Multiple law enforcement agencies swarmed an area of northeast East Baton Rouge Parish Tuesday morning as part of a search for a man wanted out of Livingston Parish.
Louisiana State Police said officers arrested 19-year-old Brady Jones, a convicted felon who LSP said was wanted for aggravated flight from an officer out of Livingston Parish.
Troopers initially told News 2 Jones was wanted for attempted murder, but later said that was not the case.
Authorities had a scene taped off on Kilona Drive where the pursuit began after a traffic stop. A Louisiana State Police helicopter joined authorities on the ground as they searched an area north of Greenwell Street for Jones, and he was taken into custody around 1 p.m.
