BATON ROUGE - Police released a photo of a man who almost went on a spending spree recently with a fake card at a video game store in Baton Rouge.

Police said on Aug. 25 the man tried to buy about $436 worth of merchandise from the GameStop on College Drive. Investigators said he used a fraudulent bank card, but did not successfully buy anything.

Officers described him as an Hispanic male between 5'7" and 5'9" tall and wearing a blue t-shirt with white lettering and a white baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the man's identity should call the BRPD Financial Crimes Division at (225) 389-3871.
