Man shot in head on Weller Street, in stable condition
BATON ROUGE – Authorities responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Weller Street near Aliquippa Street.
According to authorities, a man at the location was grazed in the head by a gunshot. The man, according to authorities, was transported by EMS from the scene in stable condition.
There is no information about a motive or arrest at the time of this post.
On neighbor, who wished to remain unidentified, talked to WBRZ about the shooting and said that she is tired of people being killed in her community.
"The killing has to stop, the shooting. It is totally unnecessary. It causes so much confusion and uneasiness," she said.
"We’re exhausted. I’m pretty sure I speak for the entire community, this is totally unnecessary and there’s got to be a better way to live," she said.
