BATON ROUGE - Police say a man on a dirt bike led police on a brief chase before crashing into another vehicle in a Baton Rouge neighborhood Wednesday morning.

The crash was first reported shortly before noon at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Perkins Road. Photos from the scene show a wrecked dirt bike sitting in the middle of the roadway and crime scene tape wrapped all around the intersection.

A police spokesperson tells WBRZ that a man riding the bike refused to stop for officers. According to BRPD, the man then ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. 

Sources say two people were taken to the hospital. One is in stable condition, the other sustained serious injuries.
