Man killed ex, found shot dead on levee Sunday
BATON ROUGE – A woman was murdered by her ex-boyrfriend who then shot and killed himself miles away Saturday.
Tangela Detiege, 33, was shot and killed on Catalina Drive in Baton Rouge. The shooting happened at her home around 7 p.m.
The gunman, Matthew Thornton, was found dead hours later. Thornton shot himself in a car on the levee at River Road near Ben Hur. LSU Police found the vehicle around 6 a.m. Sunday.
