UPDATE: Police say 35-year-old Edward Mitchell has died after he was stabbed Friday afternoon.

Investigators still have no suspect nor a clear motive for the attack.

BATON ROUGE - Police say a person showed up at a gas station looking for help after being stabbed Friday.

The incident was reported around 1:30 p.m. at the Exxon gas station across from the Greyhound bus station on Florida Boulevard. Police say the victim was stabbed in the torso during an argument on 13th Street and ran to the gas station for help.

The victim was taken from the scene in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
