BATON ROUGE - LSU football says the program will unveil and promote its No. 1 ranked class of 2016 signees on billboards in certain areas across the state.

Rolling the campaign in with the #GreatnessBeginsHere hashtag created by LSU, the push got underway Friday as five early enrollees appeared on billboards in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

The promotion will continue through National Signing Day, which is coming up on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The Tigers will celebrate that day by revealing even more members of the 2016 class on billboards in the Capital Area, New Orleans and even as far flung as Interstate 20 in Monroe.

Each billboard features a head shot of the player, their hometown and high school. Tiger fans are being encouraged to snap pictures of the billboards when they see them and tweet them to @LSUfball along with the #GreatnessBeginsHere hashtag.

In total, 16 billboards featuring Tiger signees will go up on National Signing Day with eight in Baton Rouge, five in New Orleans and three in the Monroe area.
