The Baton Rouge LifeShare donation center at 3849 North Blvd. will remain open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. A blood drive is scheduled to be held at the Gonzales Walmart, located at 308 North Airline Highway, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Blood drives on Tuesday are scheduled for the Zachary Police Department, at 4525 Main Street, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at EFCU Financial, 10719 Airline Highway, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LifeShare says due to the high volume of blood donors coming forward, willing donors are also encouraged to schedule appointments for future dates in order to ensure a continued stable blood supply for the Capital City community.
