House fire on Buckeye Drive caused by lint in laundry's dryer
BATON ROUGE – Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 6000 block of Buckeye Drive Friday morning.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the home's laundry room. According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, the fire was caused by lint accumulated in the dryer's vent.
The department says the home received an estimated $7,500 worth of damages.
