BATON ROUGE- The 52 annual Greater Baton Rouge State Fair begins today.

The fair will be eleven days of fun and family entertainment. Each day of the fair will feature Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Swifty Swine Pig Racing, Noah's Way Petting Zoo and more.

On October 30 and 31, there will also be a karaoke contest.

For the weekends, every Saturday there will be a Lego Build Extravaganza for children ages seven to 13. The extravaganza will have two levels of competition, individual and team building. Building is free, but space will be limited.

There will also be drone racing on Saturdays in the arena area. Drones will fly at high speeds over and through different obstacles on a marked course. The winner will be the drone with the fastest time.

Guests can also enjoy agricultural shows, a robotics competition and the Mitchell Brothers midway with over 40 rides.

Fair goers can also taste nitrogen frozen cereal. This year will be the first time the frozen treat is offered at the fair.
