LAFOURCHE PARISH- The Galliano Pontoon Bridge is currently closed to vehicular traffic.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office said in a post, that the bridge is closed so the Department of Public Works can remove and rebuild the winch.

The closure is estimated to last until Wednesday Nov. 15.
