BATON ROUGE - A former LSU student accused of taking photos of teenage girls showering in an on-campus dorm has pled guilty to sharing sexually explicit images of minors online.

According to US Attorney Corey Amundson, 20-year-old Andrew Easterly pled guilty of storing inappropriate images featuring minors on his electronic devices and sharing them online, allowing his followers and other members of the public to access, view, and share the images.

In 2015, authorities arrested Easterly on three separate occasions in a matter of months.

WBRZ first reported on Easterly after he was caught with photos of teenage girls showering in Herget Hall. Easterly had been arrested off-campus for child porn charges, and a search of his dorm room led to the discovery of the photos taken on campus. Law enforcement officers say they recovered more than 300 images featuring prepubescent minors and toddlers off of Easterly's devices, including images he allegedly produced himself.

The arrest report says the two 14-year-old girls who appear in the photos admitted to investigators that they came to campus for the Sept. 19 LSU game against Auburn to spend time with Easterly. The girls told law enforcement Easterly served them alcoholic beverages in his dorm room and made inappropriate comments about their physical appearance throughout the day. The report says the girls made up a story to tell their parents that would allow them to spend the night on campus with Easterly.

Easterly is scheduled to be sentenced on Mar. 29, 2018.
