Firefighters respond to flames near Glen Oaks Drive

BATON ROUGE - Fire crews are investigating a house fire early Friday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m. the Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the 6700 block of Buttonwood Drive located near Glen Oaks Drive.

Flames were in the rear of the house that spread to the attic.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.

The American Red Cross was called to help the displaced occupants.
