Father, son wanted in connection with threats made at high school now in custody

UPDATE: The father and son accused in connection with terrorizing threats made at Lusher School are now in custody. Wyatt Johnston, 14, was turned into juvenile custody by his mother, according to police.  The boy is accused of making threats at school on Thursday, saying he would return to the school and shoot it up Friday, according to WWL-TV.

Authorities say Arthur Johnston, 52, turned himself into authorities.  Johnson is accused of preventing authorities from arresting his son.

NEW ORLEANS- Officers from the New Orleans Police Department are looking for a father and son in connection with threats made at a high school last week.

WWL-TV reports that Wyatt Johnston made threats towards Lusher Charter School Thursday, according to NOPD. As a result of an investigation, officers said a warrant for Johnston was issued for terrorizing.

Police said 52-year-old Arthur Johnston, knew his son was wanted but made efforts to prevent Wyatt from being arrested. According to authorities, police obtained a warrant for the father, citing accessory after the fact for terrorizing.
