Evacuation urged in Brazoria County after levee breach
BRAZORIA COUNTY - A levee just south of Houston has breached, prompting an immediate evacuation.
A post on the county's official Twitter account warned residents that the levee at the Columbia Lakes subdivision had breach and urged them to "Get out Now!!"

According to KCRA, major roads throughout the county are closed, including large stretches of Highway 35, which was being used as an evacuation route. County officials issued a mandatory evacuation order on Sunday for the entire western half of the county.
