BATON ROUGE – Deputies said they have found a Catahoula Parish work release inmate in Baton Rouge.

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, Curtis Hanson, 44, of Jena, La. left his assigned work area Sunday morning at Mike Gerald’s Trailer Depot at 6800 Airline Highway.

Deputies said Hanson was later located on Scenic Highway shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

EBRSO believed that Hanson was armed with a screwdriver and mentioned that he would attack any law enforcement who tried to take him into custody.

Hanson was arrested in April for Possession of Meth.
