BATON ROUGE- Traffic officials are set to give an update on a project that's expected to improve the flow of traffic around the city.

Representative Darrell Ourso is hosting a town hall meeting where DOTD officials will talk about the progress on plans to add another interchange to I-10 near Pecue Lane. The addition is part of a project in the the East Baton Rouge City-Parish Green Light Plan that also calls for Pecue to be widened.

The construction aims to relieve congestion on Bluebonnet Boulevard, Siegen Lane and Airline Highway.

There are two meetings scheduled for Tuesday to talk about the project. The first is at 7:30 a.m. and the other will be at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings will be at the Saint George Fire Department Headquarters on Airline Highway.
