BATON ROUGE - North Scenic Highway (LA 3164) will have one lane closed in each direction from the overpass bridge to Fuqua Street on Thursday.

The closure will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

According to the Department of Transportation and Development, the closure is necessary for sewer improvement construction.

No detours are necessary. DOTD reminds drivers to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
