The number 27 is for Nebraska punter Sam Foltz; the 3 is for former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler. Sadler and Foltz were killed in a fiery car crash, Delahoussaye survived. The three were in a Mercedes that crashed into a tree and burst into flames after leaving a kicking camp outside of Milwaukee in July.
Delahoussaye was treated for second-degree burns following the crash.
Delahoussaye is a senior from New Iberia.
