LIVINGSTON- A woman was reunited with her stolen dog Thursday night. She picked up the pup in Livingston Parish, more than 400 miles away from where it went missing.

Sharon Walker's Yorkie was yanked out of her yard in Dallas back in April. A Livingston Parish woman says she adopted the dog during a trip to Texas, not knowing the dog was stolen.

It wasn't until the new owner attempted to get the dog microchipped that she realized "Fluffy" was already in the system. That's when Walker was notified.

"They contacted me and told me that someone had her and was trying to do a transfer of ownership," said Walker. "I said I don't want to transfer her, she's my dog and she has been reported stolen."

This is the second time the dog has been stolen. Luckily, the microchip helped track her down last time too.
