BATON ROUGE- The Cradle to K Parent Club will meet for the first time today.

According to a release, Cradle to K Parent Club is the second phase of Mayor Sharon Weston Broome's Cradle K initiative. Parent club events support family engagement by building community collaborations among parents while connecting them with resources and opportunities.

The meeting will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Shiloh Early Learning Academy. Future meetings will be March 22, April 9, and May 10.
