BATON ROUGE - Capital Area Transit System customers can now take advantage of e-commerce functionality on CATS' website that allows them to purchase passes from the website without having to visit a CATS terminal.

“We are pleased to have this feature active on the website,” said CATS CEO Bob Mirabito. “We know that our customers will enjoy the convenience of purchasing our passes from the comfort of their homes. We are constantly striving to be as customer-friendly as possible, and this is one more way we can achieve that,” Mirabito continued.

Customers can now purchase 7-day, 15-ride and 31-day passes online. Touchdown Express round trips will also be available for online purchase during the remaining LSU home games. Online orders are usually processed within three business days, so customers should allow between 3-7 business days for the passes to arrive.

CATS also now accepts credit and debit card purchases at the CATS Terminal located at 2222 Florida Boulevard.
