BATON ROUGE - Police said a woman was shot in the thigh when her neighbors started to fight Tuesday afternoon. 

The shooting happened in the 4100 block of Mohican.  Investigators said there was an argument between some neighbors when a gun was fired.

Witnesses said the woman, who was not identified, was nearby and hit by the bullet.  Authorities said the woman had non-life threatening injuries.
