BATON ROUGE- Authorities have determined arson to be the cause of a fire that destroyed a building in Baton Rouge early Monday morning.

The Baton Rouge Fire Department received a call about a building on fire on Scenic Highway at Rosenwald Road around 4:15 a.m. It took fire crews about 30 minutes to get the flames under control.

The building was vacant and no injuries were reported.
