CLINTON - Officials have issued a boil water advisory in part of East Feliciana Parish after severe weather swept through the area over the weekend. 

Residents along Lower CC Road in Clinton are advised to disinfect their water before consumption. The advisory goes into effect Monday and will remain until further notice.

It's believed that Sunday's heavy rainfall led to water lines being exposed.
