ASSUMPTION PARISH- The Assumption Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness is opening a spot for people to throw out debris that was left behind by the severe weather earlier this week.

According to a news release sent out Friday, the Ezeikel Street site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the weekend for people to dispose of the trash. The disposal site is only accepting construction and vegetable debris, no tires or hazardous materials will be allowed.
