GROSSE TETE - At the time of this update 3:50 p.m., all lanes are now open on  I-10W near Grosse Tete.

Early Sunday afternoon, accidents on I-10 near Grosse Tete caused westbound lanes to close and eastbound lanes experienced a few delays. 

Traffic on I-10 W near Ramah was already heavy due to construction.

There is no word on how many vehicles were involved in the accidents or the severity of the injuries. 

Motorists were advised to use US 190 W as an alternate route.
