The Denham Spring Yellow Jackets are making some changes in light of last years 4-7 season.
The Jackets graduated 33 seniors from that team, but they're hoping a shift to more spread principles on offense will keep them in games or at least allow them to catch up in a hurry late.(More)...

The Scotlandville Hornets are loaded with talent for a run to the Dome in 2014.

INDEPENDENCE - The Independence Tigers are hoping to turn the page on a rough season in 2013 and take strides in the right direction this fall.
The Tigers were 1-9 last season, but this year they have 14 returning starters, including four on the offensive line and the entire defensive line.
Head coach Keith Carona says the Tigers have a chance to be a very physical team this year in district 8-3A, as long as they can stay healthy.

The Albany Hornets will lean on their run game and six returners coming back from the 2013 team this coming season.
Second year head coach Blane Westmoreland is hoping his team can improve upon their 3-7 mark last year and overcome some of those last minute defeats from 2013.

The Walker Wildcats are in for a challenge in 2014 as they are returning only six players from last years team that finished the year with a 2-8 record.
The Wildcats have only one starter back on offense, and they are moving their attack to a more rush first approach.
