Here Come The Tigers
BATON ROUGE - Thursday marks the first day college coaches can contact high school recruits via texting. In a video posted on Facebook, LSU Coach Les Miles did a series of finger stretches to prepare.
The NCAA deregulated electronic communication between coaches and recruits, meaning coaches can now send unlimited amounts of text messages to prospective players. That would have been a violation prior to today, although coaches were already allowed to contact recruits via email or social media.
After stretching his fingers, Miles stares into the camera and, with a smirk, states "Here come the Tigers."
