Black Lives Matter Summit
BATON ROUGE- The Baton Rouge Delta Alumnae Chapter and other participating groups are hosting a Black Lives Matter Summit later this month.
The summit will address and discuss issues such as high incarceration rates, black-on-black crime statistics, problematic relationships with law enforcement and other problems facing the black community.
The Delta Alumnae Chapter is seeking involvement, participation and commitment from individuals in the community that want to address hot-button issues.
The summit will also feature a panel of education and law enforcement experts.
The event is free and will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at Southern University Law Center's AA Lenoir Building. You can register for the event here.
