BATON ROUGE – The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a crash on Highway 19 where a woman with a medical problem lost control of her vehicle. 

BRPD initially reported that the woman was ejected from the vehicle, however BRPD later confirmed that she was not ejected. The crash occurred on Tuesday around 11 a.m. on Highway 19 near Thomas Road. The woman was transported from the crash with critical injuries, however she is expected to survive, according to BRPD.
