Walker mayor preparing lawsuit over flooding; Blames state, feds
WALKER - The mayor of this Livingston Parish city said he is going to file a lawsuit against the state and federal government, blaming the construction of I-12 for flooding most of the city.
About 80% of the homes were flooded, Mayor Rick Ramsey said.

"As soon as our attorney gets out of his flooded subdivision, we're putting it in his lap," a frustrated mayor said in a live TV interview on WBRZ just after noon Tuesday.
"I have told everyone who will listen," Mayor Rick Ramsey said, about him trying to warn officials about the chances of flooding due to construction previously.
Mayor Ramsey said the lawsuit will be a class action and invited other cities to join.
