Victim, shooter identified in deadly Addis shooting
ADDIS – Investigators have identified the two individuals, including a reserve Addis Police officer, who were involved in a deadly shooting in Addis Friday.
According to Louisiana State Police, 23-year-old Emily Thibodaux was shot and killed around 4 p.m. Friday at a home on East Nic Drive.
State Police said the shooter was her husband, 29-year-old Ivy Thibodaux, a reserve officer for the Addis Police Department.
Specifics about how the victim was shot have not been released, but we are working to get as many details as possible.
