Southern University president writes letter regarding potential higher ed budget cuts
BATON ROUGE - President-Chancellor of Southern University Dr. Ray Belton wrote an open letter in reaction to Gov. John Bel Edwards proposed potential $1 billion cut to Louisiana's higher education budget.
In the letter, Belton urged supporters of Southern University to write to Louisiana legislators in opposition to the proposed budget cut.
