BATON ROUGE - It's been a busy weekend for first responders as crews were called to at least four separate reported shootings Sunday.
The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed it responded to four shootings, one of which was fatal.
The first shooting occurred early Sunday morning in the 2100 block of North Lobdell Boulevard. Police say a domestic violence incident led to the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also confirmed an afternoon shooting on Plank Road, where one victim was found shot inside a car. Police say the victim drove himself to the police station with a gunshot wound to his arm.
One shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Beechwood Drive around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Sources say the victim was taken from the scene with non life-threatening injuries.
EMS also responded to a shooting victim who was found near the I-10 overpass on Bluebonnet Boulevard, however little information was available regarding the victim's condition.
