BATON ROUGE - Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting at a Plank Road event hall in October.

Police say Kwame Orlando Robinson went to the Renaissance Center in early October with Marquise Bailey and Alvin Donahue, with intentions of robbing employees at the business.

Police say Robinson and Bailey fired multiple gunshots at a male victim, striking him in the upper torso.

Youlanda Hunter appeared from out of a hallway, according to police, when she was pursued by Donahue.  Hunter died after being shot twice in the upper torso.

Police say the three men then fled on foot.

Robinson was identified in a line up as one of two people who planned the robbery.

Robinson was arrested on counts of attempted first degree murder and principal to first degree murder.
