HAMMMOND - A man was found shot, lying in the street of a usually quiet neighborhood Friday morning.

Police said Stephen Vance, 25, was located on Rue Cannes in the Villa West neighborhood. He died at the hospital.

Investigators did not have much information about the case as of this post. Villa West is off busy Morrison Boulevard.

Police hope tips will help lead them to an arrest in the case.
