BATON ROUGE – Jones Creek Road between Tiger Bend Road and 7 pines Avenue will be closed starting Friday afternoon, according to city-parish officials.

The closure will start at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 and will continue until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10. City-parish crews will be working to install a storm drain pipe.

The Department of Transportation and Drainage says drivers should detour to Coursey Boulevard to Stumberg Lane to Tiger Bend Road.
