BATON ROUGE - Police say one person was hurt in a shooting on E. Grant Street Wednesday.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of E. Grant Street. According to Baton Rouge Police, one person was shot in the leg.

Authorities say the victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
