No injuries reported after school bus rear-ended in Livingston Parish

WALKER - Only bumps and bruises were reported after a school bus was hit from behind on Tuesday morning.

Livingston Parish Schools Superintendent Rick Wentzel said the bus had dropped high school students off and was bound for North Corbin Junior High in Walker when it was struck from behind.

12 students were on board at the time of the wreck, but none were taken to the hospital from the scene.

The superintendent notes that every bus driver is drug tested after an accident. He confirmed there have been no suspensions or firings in the wake of the wreck.
