BATON ROUGE - Strong thunderstorms rolling through Baton Rouge have caused power outages in the city and surrounding areas Thursday night.

By 11 p.m., an outage map by Entergy showed nearly 4,400 customers had lost power.

Another 4,300 customers near New Orleans have also gone without power through the night.
