CENTRAL- A local woman cooked and personally delivered an extravagant homemade meal for the Central Fire Department on Tuesday.

The CFD posted to their Facebook page that "Mrs. Lucy" brought the crew an assortment of hearty foods just in time for Thanksgiving week. Photos show lima beans, salad, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, sausage, dinner rolls, and even pineapple upside down cake.

The grateful crew thanked their "favorite fire station cook" for her thoughtfulness, and noted that Mrs. Lucy said she "loves to cook for her firemen."
